Can I Use Up Your Nose Drops in my Neti Pot or Add It to My Sinus Rinse Solution?

We have customers that like doing this. If you want to try it, we recommend mixing some Up Your Nose Drops into your Neti pot or sinus rinse bottle water, but we suggest that you follow these directions:

  • Add 2 half droppers full to the last ounce or two of water.
  • Do this up to 4 times daily, especially before bed and in the morning.

Up Your Nose Drops is an easy-to-use replacement for the Neti pot or your sinus rinse solution. Many of our fans tell us they prefer using Up Your Nose Drops due to the simplicity and overall effectiveness of the nasal drops.

How Long Will My Bottle of Up Your Nose Drops Keep?

Customers we've surveyed tell us, on average, they use our nose drops about four times a day and that a bottle will last them a few months before it runs dry. Our nasal drops usually keep for about a year. In order to get the most life out of your nose drops, keep the bottle stored upright, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.

My Nose Drops Have Expired. Can I Still Use Them?

Yes, you can, however, we can only guarantee Up Your Nose Drops through the "best if used by" shown on the bottles, which is generally 12 months from the time of packaging.

The bottles will lose their strength with exposure to sunlight, heat, and time. Carefully stored, however, Up Your Nose Drops may last up to a year from the packaging date without much degradation. When it gets old it just loses potency, but will not harm you in any way. Be sure to store them in an upright position.

Will Up Your Nose Drops Irritate My Nose or Sinuses?

Most people try our nasal drops tell us they like the way Up Your Nose Drops feels as it rinses away mucus. We’ve even heard of it being described as “a bath for the nose." However, some people with very sensitive nasal and sinus tissue may feel a stinging sensation similar to when plain water gets in their nose—and that's sort of the case with our drops. Up Your Nose Drops are mostly water with low salt (saline) levels. They are hypotonic, which means they have a lower salt level than your body. That low salinity can also help when it comes to clearing stuff out of your nose, especially when combined with Up Your Nose Drops' other ingredients.

In most cases, any unpleasant sensation dulls or goes away with repeated use. If you're using Up Your Nose Drops when you have a bad sinus infection, you may feel some irritation the first time you use it, especially if you have inflamed or irritated tissues.  We suggest using  just few drops in each nostril for the first few days of use. Up Your Nose Drops will help sooth your inflamed sinuses and the stinging sensation will lessen after the first few applications.
